Previously F4. If you arrived here searching for the F4 pass rate, this is the right paper. ACCA renamed its exams in 2018 and F4 Corporate and Business Law became LW.

ACCA reports pass rates for on-demand papers at the June and December sittings only, so there is no separate March 2026 figure for LW.

Why LW's pass rate looks like this

LW passed 82% at both of the last two reported sittings. That consistency is unusual and reflects the nature of the paper: it is recall-led, the objective-test format suits it, and the syllabus does not shift much between sittings.

That said, LW is the paper students most often underestimate. It is not a calculation paper, so it rewards a different kind of revision entirely, and candidates who apply a numerical study pattern to it tend to under-prepare on the volume of material.

Most LW variants are on-demand computer-based exams, so ACCA reports the pass rate at the June and December sittings only.

How LW compares

LW's rate is roughly double PM's. If you are choosing what to sit alongside a hard paper, LW is the conventional pairing for exactly this reason.
