ACCA Exam Dates 2026
ACCA runs four exam sittings a year. Every date below comes directly from ACCA's own Important Dates page rather than a third-party estimate. Exam-date roundups vary wildly between sites, so we've linked our source and the date we checked it at the bottom of this page.
- Four sittings a year: March, June, September, December
- March and September offer Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams (limited variants) only
- June and December offer all exam variants, except Corporate and Business Law (LW), which is always on-demand
- BT, MA, FA and most LW variants are on-demand computer-based exams. Book any time, no fixed sitting required.
- All entry deadlines are 23:59 UK time on the listed date
2026 sittings
| Session | Exams take place | Standard entry deadline | Late entry deadline | Results |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| March 2026 | 2–6 March | 26 January 2026 | 2 February 2026 | 11 April 2026 |
| June 2026 | 1–5 June | 16 April 2026 | No late entry | 13 July 2026 |
| September 2026 | 7–11 September | 27 July 2026 | 3 August 2026 | 19 October 2026 |
| December 2026 | Not yet published by ACCA | — | — | — |
December 2026 is blank because ACCA hasn't published it yet, as of when this page was last checked. Third-party "ACCA exam dates" articles showing confident December 2026 dates are estimating from past years' patterns, and those estimates disagree with each other by anywhere from a few days to two weeks. We'll update this page once ACCA confirms it rather than publish a plausible-looking guess.
Which papers need a fixed sitting?
On-demand (any day, no sitting needed)
Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), Financial Accounting (FA), and most variants of Corporate and Business Law (LW) are computer-based exams you can book at a licensed centre whenever you're ready. There's no entry deadline to track for these. Book, sit, and get your result on the same rhythm as any other CBE.
Fixed sittings (March, June, September, December)
The Applied Skills papers (Performance Management, Taxation, Financial Reporting, Audit and Assurance and Financial Management), plus all Strategic Professional papers, are tied to one of the four sittings above. March and September only offer limited variants at these levels; June and December offer the full set.
Planning around the deadlines
Standard vs late entry
Booking by the standard entry deadline gets you the lowest fee. Miss it and you can still book up to the late deadline at a higher fee, where a session offers late entry at all. June 2026 doesn't. June sittings have historically had no late-entry window, so treat the standard deadline as a hard stop if you're aiming for June.
Results timing
Results are released roughly five to six weeks after the exams take place, always at 00:00 UK time. If you want a text alert rather than checking myACCA at midnight, opt in through myACCA at least seven days before results day. It's a one-off setting that applies to all future sittings once turned on.
Once your sitting is booked, every ACCA paper on GoQualified has 150 free practice questions with worked explanations and a timed mock exam mode built to match your paper's real format. Free, no login.
