ACCA Exam Dates 2026 and 2027

December 2026 is now confirmed. ACCA published the December session on its Important Dates page in August 2026. Entry opened on 4 August, standard entry closes 2 November, late entry closes 9 November, the exams run 7 to 11 December, and results are released on 18 January 2027.

Why this page sat blank until ACCA published: through July 2026, several third-party sites were already quoting confident December dates, and they contradicted each other. Exam weeks were given variously as 1 to 5 December and 7 to 11 December, and results as 11 or 18 January 2027. We left the row blank rather than pick one. ACCA has now confirmed 7 to 11 December with results on 18 January, so roughly half of those articles were wrong. It is a useful reminder to check the deadline in myACCA or on accaglobal.com before you book, whatever any revision site tells you.

ACCA has not published exact 2027 dates yet. Its Important Dates page lists only the September and December 2026 sessions. As with December 2026, we will fill these rows when ACCA publishes them, not before.

What ACCA has confirmed for 2027: June 2027 is the final sitting of the current Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams. The new Foundations and Knowledge exams become available on demand from July 2027. September 2027 is the first sitting of the new Expertise and Strategic Professional exams: entry opens in May 2027 and closes in August 2027, and results follow in October 2027.

On-demand (any day, no sitting needed)

Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), Financial Accounting (FA), and the UK and global (GLO) versions of Corporate and Business Law (LW) are computer-based exams you can book at a licensed centre whenever you're ready. There's no entry deadline to track for these.

Fixed sittings (March, June, September, December)

The Applied Skills papers (Performance Management, Taxation, Financial Reporting, Audit and Assurance and Financial Management), plus all Strategic Professional papers, are tied to one of the four sittings above. March and September only offer limited variants at these levels; June and December offer the full set.

Most timetables stop at results day. These are the deadlines that matter afterwards, all from ACCA's own calendar and all 23:59 UK time.

Two details worth noting. To get results by text you must opt in through myACCA at least seven days before release. And the exam cycle for this session runs 1 July to 30 September 2026.

Standard vs late entry

Booking by the standard entry deadline gets you the lowest fee. Miss it and you can still book up to the late deadline at a higher fee, where a session offers late entry at all. June 2026 doesn't. June sittings have historically had no late-entry window, so treat the standard deadline as a hard stop if you're aiming for June.

Results timing

Results are released roughly five to six weeks after the exams take place, always at 00:00 UK time. If you want a text alert rather than checking myACCA at midnight, opt in through myACCA at least seven days before results day. It's a one-off setting that applies to all future sittings once turned on.
